Picture This: Monster Brussels Sprout

I was recently mentioning this plant to a friend and thought I would pull this picture up you all. This Brussels Sprout was grown in early 2010 in Silverlake, Ca. I’m still not sure what caused this plant to bare such a monstrous stalk and would love to hear your experiences with freaky plants :)

Hi! My name is Sergio Scabuzzo and welcome to The Greenman Project. I write here with hopes to facilitate a dialog which helps bring the positive change we want to see in ourselves and the world. This conversation being related to sustainability, Permaculture, natural building and the many roads in between. As we find each other on this path, I hope you feel inspired to change the world, build something and share your thoughts...
