A while back I helped some friends set up a raised garden bed in their back yard. Paul, with his handy dandy iphone, set up a time lapse of the whole thing. Quite amusing, sadly we did not notice it getting darker so some of it is kinda dark in the middle. Oh well..

Enter the fortress, building a raised garden bed
I have never worried about cold weather before, nor about any animals eating my bounty. Those days are over… Now I live in an area with plant killing frost and gophers a plenty. In lieu of this, I have created the raised garden bed fortress. Turn down the lights and queue the drums please:

Planting time
So, we’ve been very busy getting our new house to be our new home. There are thing here we’ve never dealt with. For example, mice. The little guys were getting in through all kinds of places. I’ve patched many holes so now they are not partying all night long as often.
